Learn how to declutter your home, destress your brain, and have more time for what matters.

We've all been there -

Mountains of dirty clothes, a sink full of dishes, counter tops so crowded you can't even start dinner, an entryway full of shoes and backpacks, school paperwork coming out of your ears... no wonder you feel like you're drowning most days! You ARE!

Listen to me, mama. You're not crazy, you're not inadequate, incapable, less than, or dumb.

You're just weary and overwhelmed. And it makes perfect sense.

The UCLA Center for Families recently did a study on the effects of clutter on female homeowners. What they found was a direct link between the amount of STUFF in a woman's home and her levels of high cortisol (the stress hormone).

Clutter = stress

It's not you, it's science!

I used to wake up every day depressed, tired before the day even started, and honestly, not really loving this motherhood gig.

One day I realized that all I did was clean up. And it wasn't even stuff my family needed, it was just...stuff! I decided to move purposefully through my house and remove anything that wasn't truly loved or needed.

What happened next changed my entire life - everything got lighter.

  • All of a sudden my kids weren’t wandering into the playroom, only to come out after five minutes whining of boredom. They were going in there and actually playing! For hours! With less toys they were less overwhelmed by options.

  • I noticed I had so much more free time! I wasn’t spending the bulk of my week picking up, so I was able to better manage the rest of the house. At this point I still felt overwhelmed by the piles of laundry and dishes, but I definitely had more time to tackle those things because the kids were busy playing and I wasn’t having to maintain the playroom.

  • I noticed my kids’ relationships with each other started getting better. They were playing together, creating imaginary scenarios in the backyard together, and getting along!

  • I was loving how this one simple change was transforming our kids and our home life!

Five years later, I've never gone back to how things were. I live in a minimalist home that I love, and I'm able to homeschool my four kids, run my business, and be the kind of mom who sits on the floor and plays with her kids each day.

I'm not stretched paper thin anymore, I'm not a yelling basket-case of a wife anymore, there is white space in my home and my life. I can breathe.

I can live an abundant motherhood.

You can too.

When I created my online decluttering course, Your Uncluttered Home, I designed it to be a guide for other moms who were in the same place I once was. I wanted a way to help busy mamas like you remove the excess from their homes and start fresh without wasting time and space on clutter. It's a shortcut to this simpler life.

Because it's so jam-packed with valuable, life-changing digital lessons, checklists, and other downloads, I know it's outside of some budgets.

That's why I have turned the bulk of Your Uncluttered Home into a PDF as another option for those looking to declutter on a budget.

My work has been featured on many popular shows and sites, including Good Morning America, The TODAY Show, and The Huffington Post.

Check out what some of my beautiful students have to say about Your Uncluttered Home:
