More and more people are looking for straightforward, streamlined and uncomplicated content. Is this something you can do in your own business? Are people willing to pay for content that was once published for free? If so, under what conditions? What are the steps you can take to make sure your content marketing strategy thrives?

In this episode, Allie Casazza talks about how she turned her life around by living a simpler life and how she brought this to her business, too.

Startup Camp Podcast

On this episode, you’ll learn how Allie launched her business on a shoestring budget, her secret for being super productive at home, and the one thing you absolutely need to do to grow quickly.

We love Allie because she’s living so many of the StartupCamp principles. She started lean, learned from her mistakes, and followed her heart.

The Influencer Podcast

If you’ve ever felt intimidated by the elusive unicorn that is virality, then today’s episode is for you.

I’m talking with Allie Casazza, who built a 7-figure business that allows her to work just 15 hours each week, all about how she intentionally created a viral article.

Unlike a lot of people who think going viral is “just getting lucky,” Allie has a different perspective on the topic—one that I think will inspire you to rethink your approach to content creation. Allie knew she wanted to write a viral post and set out to make it happen. She spent weeks studying the anatomy of viral articles and carefully crafting hers. And guess what? She succeeded.

Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey

Allie and I start off the show talking about decluttering! You are not only going to love hearing Allie's tips for simplifying dishes and laundry, but we also discuss how decluttering your life physically can impact your life spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. You'll be so inspired hearing her own story of how decluttering didn't just make her house neater, but created more space and time for the things that truly matter. After hearing the stories she shared of the impact of delcluttering on her clients' marriages, careers, and joy in the everyday, I pretty much told Allie she must come hold my hand to do all these things! Allie then opens up about her struggle with post partum depression and how she worked through it. I am so thankful to Allie for sharing her story and her important message that we need to talk about post partum depression and how we can check in with the new mommas in our lives.

It’s been four years since Allie Casazza had her "aha!" moment. Pregnant with her third child and fed up with constantly cleaning up their California home, the 29-year-old had a revelation: Stop tidying stuff up. Start throwing stuff out.

Today, the now-mom-of-four has accomplished the improbable: She’s given away many of her own possessions and decluttered her home. And she’s whittled her children’s toy collection down to a single small bin.

After getting rid of most of the toys in their house, the mum-of-three shared a photograph of her children playing together in her stylish, uncluttered living room – with just one small toy box beside them.
She says that noisy toys get in the way of siblings bonding with each other and believes that "less stuff" makes for a happier house and a happier family.

Scary Mommy

Four years ago, Allie Casazza got tired of looking around her house and seeing a bunch of stuff. She got tired of always feeling behind. “I spent the first four years of my motherhood completely miserable, to be honest,” Casazza admits. “I was stuck in survival mode and there seemed to be no way out.”

Allie Casazza loved her kids, but the clutter caused by the massive amount of toys they had accumulated began causing her so much stress that only by giving away the toys she said, was she able to “save [her] motherhood” and “[her] marriage.”

“I had this huge room in my house, dedicated to toys. Bins overflowing with stuff. A $150 light-up unicorn no one played with. The playroom was the bane of my existence,” said the mother from Bentonville, Arkansas. “I didn’t enjoy motherhood,” she admitted. “I didn’t enjoy [my kids]. They were a bother to me.”

Casazza, 29, is a minimalist expert and business owner who, along with her husband Brian, 30, recently purchased and renovated a camper for their family.

Casazza, whose four children are 8, 6, 4, and 2, became a household name after going viral five years ago by throwing out her children’s toys — almost every single one of them. She proclaimed that the move was one that saved both her enjoyment of motherhood and her marriage.
