I’m wife to Brian and mama to our four kids.
I help overwhelmed moms clear the clutter in their homes, calendars, brains, and lives so they can take a deep breath and find joy in the mundane. This site is a place to find clarity in your role as mom.
In this space you'll find a sea of motivation, fresh inspiration, and unique tricks to transform your mom life from cluttered to crystal clear and thriving.
One of my favorite things to do is sit at my desk, turn on my computer, and reach you from right where you're at with my message of HOPE.
Motherhood doesn't have to be so dang difficult all the time! My mission is to take you from "I'm counting the minutes till bedtime" to "I love this sweet little life of mine!"
Minimalism for moms (REALISTIC minimalism that actually helps you free yourself up and doesn't have you counting everything you own)
Intentional, simplified living
The overwhelmed mom who feels like every day she barely makes it through. I am here for her because I used to be her, and I found a secret- a way out of survival mode and desperation once and for all.
The mom who feels like all she does is clean up, so much so that she isn't really enjoying her family.
The mom who feels like life is happening to her. Like there's a major lack of control, and it's not a healthy one.
The mom who feels like she never has enough time in the day to accomplish what she needs to.
The person who shows up to my blog just to leave a comment like, "I can't stand you". This is a positive space!
The person who doesn't want to do work, but rather, is looking for a magic wand to fix all her problems. My stuff won't work unless YOU do.
The person who has a generally bad attitude about everything.
The person who doesn't like being told what to do in order to change the way their life is going. If you have pride issues, I may not be the best person for you to learn from.
Before I found Allie my life was dark and chaotic...I battled depression and complete overwhelm. Since taking her course, I'm now able to spend less than an hour a day cleaning, I'm able to spend quality time with my family, and I've even been able to start my own business. Thanks to Allie my life has become joyful, simple, and intentional.
Thank you Allie Casazza… thank you thank you thank you. You have brought me closer to God, simplified and focused my life, and even made it possible for me to take on part time work with your advice about rhythms and time blocking. In case you ever wonder if all your hard work is worth it, I want you to know you are making a difference in so many women’s lives. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us!
Allie Casazza I just want to say thank you! I know you must have heard a million ‘thank you’s by now, but they are all well-deserved. You have built us ladies up in so many ways. You have just the right knack for putting things in a way and order that makes sense. So thank you, again, a million times over, for your compassion and all that you have given me!
I just want to say thank you for all of your work and contributions to mamas everywhere.I've tried organizing and declutter blogs and books COUNTLESS times before, but there's just something different about the way you motivate me to find my "why" and to just get the work done that has caused real change in my home. Your tips are so practical and have been like little lightbulb moments over and over! So thank you, SO MUCH!!!!
I've been featured on popular websites like The Huffington Post, Scary Mommy, and Family Share, and have even been featured on several news networks, including Good Morning America.
I've been here for over six years, and my site was previously known as The Purposeful Housewife, so you may have been confused when you first got here. I have spent the last year or so coaching other mamas in living with purpose and intention in their homes.
I spent the first four years of my motherhood completely miserable, to be honest. I was overwhelmed, overworked, battling a heavy depression, and just barely scraping by in life. I was stuck in survival mode and there seemed to be no way out. When I began to simplify and remove the unnecessary things that were taking up all my time, I discovered a light at the end of the tunnel.
Everything got lighter, simpler, better. I finally shook my depression and it never came back. I had more free time, I was actually enjoying and playing with my kids, I was happier, I was fulfilled, I was able to serve my family and be the best version of myself. Now I spend my free time helping my fellow women get to that same place in their lives.
An online course to help you clear the clutter, reduce your stress, and create more space for what matters.

I love cheeseburgers. Like, would eat them every meal of the day for forever. No doubts about it.
I rode an elephant when I was six years old. Her name was Ellie. It was awesome.
I'm basically blind, and wear contacts/glasses.
My pet peeve is when people hang an air freshener in their car and keep the paper halfway on. Also anytime her husband chews...
My favorite animal? Cats. I have plans to own about seventeen of them when my kids leave the house...
I prefer my coffee black, maybe a splash of cream every now and then.
I don't really like movies and rarely watch them. But TV shows or reruns on Netflix? I'm there.
I have three boys, so you'll occasionally hear me say things like "I totally pulled that out of my butt" instead of something normal like "it just came to me!"
I am a hardcore introvert.
My favorite TV shows are: I Love Lucy, The Office, Friends, and Parks + Rec.
My favorite thing to do on a hard day of motherhood is hit the Starbucks drive-thru for a coffee, drive to the park, and listen to a podcast while I watch the kids get their energy out.
One area I am definitely not a minimalist? My wardrobe. See the next fact.
I love getting dressed and piecing outfits together. When it's date night, I'll stand in my closet and feel like a kid in a candy shop picking out what I'm going to wear to dinner. Styling myself and my home are two things I absolutely love doing.
My pet name for my hubby is Love Bug.
My third-born child weighed eleven pounds at birth (c-section, don't worry). No diabetes or anything, just a giant baby boy. They called in student doctors to look at him, and had to get diapers for him from the children's wing because the ones on the baby floor didn't fit him...
I'm legitimately claustrophobic (which really sucks when you're in an elevator with strangers).
My favorite color is periwinkle.
I practice what I preach, and only stay active on ONE social media platform so that I can be a present mama for my kids (being a pro blogger usually means spending 24/7 on social media). If you want to see me and my day-to-day life, Instagram is where I'l be!
I'm mildly obsessed with cats and I drink coffee like water (you probably think I'm kidding. Think again.)
When I'm not chasing down kids, managing my business, and watching I Love Lucy reruns, I'm at the gym trying to force myself to like running. I don't think it's gonna happen...
If you'd like to connect with me further, go like my fantastic Facebook page, where I spend a little time chatting about intentional living each week via Facebook Live.
